Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis (SRICF)
The Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis (SRICF) is a Masonic Rosicrucian society dedicated to the study and promotion of mystical, philosophical, and esoteric knowledge. Rooted in the traditions of Rosicrucianism, the SRICF emphasizes the pursuit of wisdom and spiritual enlightenment through disciplined study and contemplation. The society draws its inspiration from the mythical Rosicrucian manifestos of the early 17th century, which espouse a blend of Hermeticism, alchemy, and Christian mysticism.
Membership in the SRICF is by invitation only and is open to Master Masons who profess a belief in the Trinitarian Christian faith. The society is structured into nine grades, each corresponding to different levels of esoteric knowledge and understanding. These grades are conferred within a College, which is the basic organizational unit of the society. The hierarchical structure of the SRICF allows members to progressively delve deeper into the mysteries and teachings of Rosicrucian philosophy.
The primary aim of the SRICF is to provide a forum for the exchange of esoteric ideas and to foster the intellectual and spiritual development of its members. Through regular meetings, lectures, and discussions, members explore a wide range of topics, including metaphysics, mysticism, symbolism, and the occult sciences. The SRICF also places a strong emphasis on personal development and moral integrity, encouraging members to apply the Rosicrucian teachings in their daily lives. By nurturing a community of like-minded individuals committed to the pursuit of higher knowledge, the Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis plays a vital role in the enrichment of the Masonic and Rosicrucian traditions.
